Jon Walters's 87th minute goal kept Town's play-off hopes alive as the Blues drew 2-2 at Preston. Tommy Miller had put Town in front in the first half, before Chris Brown's deflected shot put the home side level and Neil Mellor's goal after the break looked to have ended the Blues' play-off push.

Jon Walters was perhaps unsurprisingly the big winner at the club's end of season dinner at Trinity Park on Tuesday evening. Walters won both the Players' Player of the Year and the Corporate Boxholders and Sponsors Player of the Year awards.

Danny Haynes was once again the derby day hero, first creating an own goal for Norwich defender Alex Pearce, then scoring the second himself as Town defeated the Canaries 2-1 at Portman Road. The Blues deserved to win much more comfortably, having dominated after Ched Evans had put the visitors ahead in the fourth minute.
